Vitamin E
Tocopherol. An antioxidant. Obtained by the vacuum distillation of edible vegetable oils. Used as a dietary supplement and an antioxidant for essential oils, rendered animal fats or a combination of such fats with vegetable oils. Helps form normal red blood cells, muscle and other tissues. Protects fat in the body’s tissues from abnormal breakdown. Experimental evidence shows Vitamin E may protect the heart and blood vessels and retard aging.
